“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” John 3:16-17
“Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising.Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent” Acts 17:29-30
BLACK LIVES MATTER is both a slogan and an organization that we have been hearing a lot about in recent days. I am not going to enter into any arguments for and against, but just to say this…ALL LIVES MATTER TO GOD. When we single out individual races and colours, we go against the clear teaching of scripture that God loves the whole of mankind and sent His beloved Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to die for the WHOLE WORLD in order that the WHOLE WORLD COULD BE SAVED.
Regardless of what some false teachers teach, God doesn’t select people to be saved and others to be lost. He died that the whole world could be saved.
“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world” 1 John 2:2
PROPITATION is a word that means the satisfying of God’s anger against sin. Our Lord’s death was sufficient to satisfy the anger of a righteous God for all the sin and wickedness of all mankind since the world was created. In His beloved Son Jesus, God made it possible for the whole of mankind to be saved. WHY? Because of John 3:16….
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”
There is no black, white, yellow, or even pink with blue spots in God’s sight. God sees only SAVED OR UNSAVED.
Having made provision for the salvation of all mankind, Father God now…..
“commands all men everywhere to repent” Acts 17:30
Havingmade the provision, it is up to us to REPENT and RECEIVE God’s free gift of salvation.In other words, God had put the ball in our court. The decission is ours. Repent, receive and be saved or reject and be lost and by our own choice, head towards a Christless eternity in the lake of fire.
“And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” Revelation 20:15
Don’t believe the devils lie that we have plenty of time. There is coming a day when this DAY OF GRACE will end. Then all opportunity to be saved will be gone and you will live with the consequences of your sin and rejection for all eternity. God warns us about this in the last book of the Bible….
“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still” Revelation 22:11
Never forget, ALL LIVES MATTER to God. Nothing makes me more sad today than when I see people putting money and wealth before peoples lives. Life is precious, God created all life and holds it very dear. It cost the precious life blood of His dear Son, to provide the means for mankind to be saved from himself and his sin.
The only thing that is delaying our Lord’s return is His unfathomable love for humanity and His desire for all mankind to be saved.
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:9
God just waits for your response.
